Welcome to BOISE PRIDE 2008!
In 2008 a new
organization is poised to make an impressive mark on Idaho’s Gay and Lesbian
community.
Boise Pride
is a member based community organization created to fill some of the void
that remained when the organization that had produced previous pride events,
Your Family Friends and Neighbors,
dissolved in 2007.

As co-chairmen of
this new non-profit company, we are excited to provide you with the
information individuals and organizations need to get involved. We are
already so amazed and excited about the number of individuals and groups
that have expressed their desire to help out and be a part of our
organization. We hope that everyone with an interest in pride will find a
way to participate and enjoy the experience of
Boise Pride 2008.
1. To produce an event and provide a venue for GLBTQ people to declare and accept themselves and support each other by creating and strengthening community ties.
2. To act as a unifying force within the Boise GLBTQ community.
3. To increase the visibility and community impact of the pride event.
4. To increase community participation in the rally, parade and festival.
5. To become a financially self-sufficient, solvent and secure organization in order to continually support the community and its goals.
6. To grow Boise Pride and the festival by investing in continuing ventures and improvements.
